Girl Ambassadors for Human Rights Program.

You're a girl between 15 and 17? Become part of the Girl Ambassadors for Human Rights Program. Applications are due September 23rd. Hurry Up!

"Girl Ambassadors will explore human rights and gender issues in their own lives and communities as a backdrop to learning about them in our country and the world. They will connect through social media and Skype with girls internationally, visit sites working on the issues in our area, meet with women college student leaders and watch the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in action in New York City in March. The girls will interview women leaders in our community and create a book out of the interviews. The program continues the nationally-recognized model we developed last year with funding received from the State Department through the American Alliance of Museums".
